Excellent technical reference. However, there isn't enough information to code and decode a JPEG2000 file.
This is not a book you'd want if you want to work with existing files, and it is not a book you'd want if you want to create JPEG2000 files. I also love the organization of the book into weeks 1-5 and also gives a shopping list for each week.. I loved revisiting the Kelly family and seeing Garrett interact with his brothers, sisters-in-law, and parents. One of my favorite things that Maya Banks does is not play lip service to her supporting characters. Lots of good stuff in this. It has a JPEG2000 decoder/encoder and once you know the basics of the technology, the parameters you feed the decoder/encoder will make more sense.
