The relationship between Jonathan and Lee was perfectly developed, and it didn't happen too quickly or too slowly. The hype seems to have died down since this book was published but I decided to give it a go anyway since there is an extreme lack of helpful information out there to help kids with diet and weight. I thought at the time: "How gross". The male character was not a particularly strong alpha and there really wasn't much interaction between the two main characters before they fell in love.
