When Wally's misses the last train home and losses his estrange children's gifts, he mysteriously encounters Ah-Hel, his Puerto Rican guardian angel and Chastity, a beautiful angel-of-a-hooker. During his desperate all-through-the-night New York City search for the toys and a way to get home, Wally meets a bevy of bizarre characters in some unusual places. With time running out and no way of escaping the certain three-prong medieval butt-chewing from his ex's, Wally ends up riding everything but Santa's sled to be with his kids on Christmas.
Editorial : About the Author
R. J. Feliciano was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York City's El Barrio (East Harlem) section of Manhattan. He is father of five children and three grandchildren. Graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) and currently lives with his wife, Cecilia and his step dog, Scotty in St. Augustine, Florida where he works as a High School teacher, is a real estate agent and runs a karate school, all of which he claims serve as wonderful source of writing material. Along with Wally's Christmas Odyssey, he is also the author of the novels: Kite Wars and Mayonnaise.
A fascinating missing person/murder mystery, flawed only by unrealistic characters. This problem lead me to the mixed review I alluded to in evaluating EJB 3.1. Fascinating.. The saga of Danel and Natongo ran for years and gave us one of the greatest villains ever in comics, the mastermind of the witchmen of Aba Zulu, Nagopa! And the allies who supported Danel were stalwart and dedicated especially General Kongoni and the ever loyal Colonel Mothibi( almost a third Brother). 4.5 stars rounded up to 5, was exactly what I was looking for to figure out the strange polychords in the Saber's Edge piece, and to realize that Sazh's theme really was alternating bars of 5 and 6. However, the book also contains a lengthy interview with Lee, as well as information about forthcoming books in the "Flat Earth" and "Blood Opera" series; these features are, as far as I know, available nowhere else.
