Elizabeth Wydeville, Queen consort to Edward IV, has traditionally been portrayed as a scheming opportunist. But was she a cunning vixen or a tragic wife and mother? As this extraordinary biography shows, the first queen to bear the name Elizabeth lived a life of tragedy, love, and loss that no other queen has since endured. This shocking revelation about the survival of one woman through vilification and adversity shows Elizabeth as a beautiful and adored wife, distraught mother of the two lost Princes in the Tower, an and innocent queen slandered by politicians.
Editorial :
Things heat up within the society. Marnee Blake’s action-packed debut is a thrill ride in book form! Altered has all the elements I love in a novel — fast pace, strong lead characters on the run, a dash of romance, and a conspiracy theory. One reason I love Melanie's books is because they always feel so relatable and, in no part of them, do you read it and think 'nope, that would never happen' because she writes REAL characters who you can truly relate to on so many levels. I felt speechless, a truly rare thing for me.
“Gone Girl” is about a marriage gone wrong, to put it simply. You'll recognize it when you see it. ALTERED is an action-packed ride with wild powers and even wilder creativity. Both editions are great! My fave for the first edition is Happy Days and my fave from the 2nd edition is Do You Hear The People Sing. I enjoy Ray Boltz music. Star
